I Cheated On You

An old game by Ric Cowley, I Cheated On You has gained recognition from Rock, Paper, Shotgun, Podtoid, Haywire Magazine, Warp Door, and was mentioned in a 2017 Waypoint article about Universal Paperclips. It has also been the subject of an essay in the book Critical Hits: An Indie Gaming Anthology.
This version has been rebuilt in Twine 2, and makes some minor changes to the style and content to improve pacing.

That one mechanic of saying all things you would normally say while wanting to say "i cheated on you" makes this game so raw and real. God damn.

I hadn't seen this before, but this was really raw and engaging. Some of the dialogue about being in a relationship felt very visceral.
